Inspired by toy wooden chairs that Dad used to make when we were younger, these drawer stands are made with the same care and sense of humor as those chairs. They are named after Lebanese prime ministers.
They can be used as a nightstand or a side table for your favorite reading chair. Each drawer is crafted with solid walnut and classic-core walnut plywood. The base of the stand is coated with industrial-grade enamel and come in a variety of colors including gold-leaf. The drawer rails are hidden to eliminate all clutter, resulting in clean, sharp design.
We’re certain that you’ll love the personality these ministers will add to your life.
The design challenge from the client was to incorporate a drawer into a coffee table. In keeping with our design language for our drawer handles (a simple walnut dowel), we were concerned about the occasional leg bump along the side of the table. A solution was to slant the drawer enough to engulf the handle below the table top.
Materials: Table and legs solid walnut. Drawer box birch plywood. Interior-side-surface of the drawer painted using industrial grade high-gloss enamel. Table finished with natural Maloof oil/wax.
Crafted with ¾” solid walnut boards measuring 45” long, 27” wide, and 30” tall.
