Located in Altadena, the Ewing Residence is a two-story, like-for-like replacement home that reinterprets traditional residential forms through a contemporary architectural language. The design centers around a dramatic double-height kitchen, dining, and living area, creating an open, light-filled space that serves as the heart of the home.

The residence features four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, with a restrained material palette, standing-seam metal roofs, and carefully articulated volumes. A new swimming pool and metal trellis extend the living experience outdoors, establishing a seamless relationship between the home and its surrounding landscape.
